I have not worn heels for a very long time, mostly because my kids were very little and I just couldn't chase after them in heels. But, I have started to wear heels again to church and other occasions and it's been hard trying to get my feet adjusted. I was concerned at first because of the height of the heels, but it was actually very comfortable. The fact that there is some security with the ankle strap definitely helps. I did not feel like my feet were getting squished in the front while walking. The only reason for the 1 less star is because I noticed the heels squeaked when I walked. Not sure if this is something that will go away, but it doesn't bother me enough to not wear the shoes. Great packaging, shoes well protected inside the box. Great matte black color.
