This is my second pair of these. I injured my knee a few years ago because I wasn't wearing the appropriate shoes for walking around on vacation. My running shoes did not provide enough support and was causing inner knee pain. I bought one pair of these a couple of years ago after doing some research. They have served me well and so I bought this second pair to have a different color. I wear them with and without socks. They have great airflow so that your feet stay dry when it's hot.
