Love, love these boots, they're gorgeous! Super soft leather, and the calf fits just fine; slightly loose, presumably to allow for tucking ones jeans inside. I'd have given them a full 5 stars, but the right one fits differently from the left. I did see someone wrote that the left one was larger, and in my case, the right one was definitely smaller, but for my feet, it was more that the left one fit perfectly, and the right one felt much smaller across the toe box. I would've returned and tried to half-size up, but they don't have that size, and I love these too much to risk missing out. It's not unwearable, but it's definitely slightly smaller/narrower than the left one. Totally worth it for these darling boots, especially since the price has more than doubled since I bought them! (I paid $111, and they're $239 at the time of this review!)My calves are a healthy 16 inches around and these were too big -- an issue compounded by the soft, thin leather. After pulling the boots on and trying to convince myself they were fashionably slouchy, I took a few laps around the apartment and checked the mirror. The boot shafts had now sagged to where the tops of my knees were showing, which pretty much blows the whole point of an OTK boot.The foot was comfortable and the leather decent enough to last maybe two seasons with care. As others have noted, the flap behind the knee to allow for bending sticks weirdly out, but that's a minor issue.I have the wide calf boots and they fit my 19"-20" calves. I am 5'9" with very long legs. The wide calf extends all the way up, with little slouching at the ankles.Absolutely beautiful leather over knee boots. Fit perfectly without being too slouchy.These boots are BEAUTIFUL! I ordered the conac shade and it's lovely. Leather is very nice. I have 2 small issues with them that kept them from being 5 star boots. 1 they scuff/scratch very easily :/ 2 is the little flap in the back behind my knee always wants to fall down which is kind of annoying. I am almost always a 7 1/2 in shoes and these fit slightly smaller than that I thought. I do believe they will stretch out some though. I think 8s may have been a little too big.The boots were great. The over the knee look is not for me. I had to return them.Love the color, got brown. Lots and lots of ankle and calf room but toes are a bit tight. Had too size up 1/2 size for plenty toe room. Width in the regular width is big and leaves a pretty big gap on my legs. Not sure how I feel about that yet but good quality. If you’re thick legged, they’ll be the perfect boots for you.Gurrrrl, Im in luv.These boots fit me perfectly, my calves circumference are 16 1/4"(R) &17"(L)My above knee circumference measures 18".and Im 5'5"...with a true flat foot. Im able to wear jeans comfortably inside the boot. Its snug, but is not bunched. The leather is soft and gives some flexibility. The toe box is also nice absolutely no pinching are rubbing.l also have about an inch allowance around my thick thigh,which makes for comfortable sitting. I hope my opinion is helpful.Beautiful boots, good quality leather, love the dark brown and it reaches above my knee im 5ft 11inches.The only problem is it's a bit snug and I have slim feet so you might need to order half a size bigger. I can't wait to wear them.Beautiful boots! And it actually fits my wide calf!!Tho it did come with some scratch marks like some of the other reviews claimed... I think it's due to the type of leather being used...I am no leather expert by any stretch of the imagination...I do think these are genuine leather...maybe just not quite as high quality..They look great in the picture but when there on there lacking style, there plain and have no umph to them. The leather is less than average quality. They look like Mountie boots.These boots look very good, like in the pictures, the size fits as expected but these are mostly plastic boots. This is not as advertised genuine leather and for $200 +, it’s not the quality expected. Disappointing.Beautiful leather over the knee boot! Fits perfectly although I was worried about the top as I have skinny legs, but they fit perfectly! I recommend them.
